GAS EXPLOSION—Heavy damages were suffered to furniture and walls of this Bayou Casotte home after a gas explosion during this morning’s early hours. The block house, owned by Odis Chesney, lost the entire east wall and a portion of the south wall. Pascagoula firemen Theodore Nelson and Raymond Ehlers reported the explo sion caused most of the damages, not the fire afterward. No one was home at the time. (Chronicle |
