Road runs eight two-rut miles and stops. Gap between this stub and Flathead river's poor North Fork road that reaches Kishenehn creek is about 20 miles. Route offers future opportunity for Flathead to have shorter scenic highway over lower elevation pass to plains and cities of Canada. Akamina pass road was in news, and so was neighboring road up North Fork that finally punched through wilderness area into Corbin, B. C. and Canadian highways. Short way into Canada will help.
